Every BrandBot landing page has the capability to send cart abandonment emails if a customer signs in to purchase on a landing page and ends up not making a purchase. BrandBot waits 15 minutes to see if a customer makes a purchase, at that time the system then marks the customer as “Abandoning a cart”.
Setting up abandoned cart automation:
You can set up an abandoned cart sequence like any other automation. When selecting your enrollment rule you are able to select the condition “Abandoned a Cart”.
You can now select all of your landing pages or just a specific one.
Customizing the Cart Abandonment Email
When building your emails you are able to use merge tags (snippets that get replaced based on customer data) to reference the last page that they used and what was being sold on that page.
Here are the merge tags for reference:
[%last_landing_purchase_name%]
This is the name of the product in the last used landing page
[%last_landing_url%]
This is the URL of the last landing page used
[%last_landing_name%]
This is the name of the page created in BrandBot
