The All Time time frame for the Number of Visits condition uses a rolling two-year lookback window for Mariana Tek integrations. It does not use a member's lifetime visit history.
Understanding how visit counts are calculated can help explain why a contact may enter an automation even if they haven't attended a class recently.
How Visit Counts are Calculated
For Mariana Tek integrations, the Number of Visits condition counts visits from the last two years. As time passes, the evaluation window updates automatically.
This means:
Visits older than two years are no longer included.
Visits from the last two years continue to count.
Visit totals are recalculated continuously as the rolling window changes.
Automation Enrollment Without a New Visit
Because the rolling two-year window changes every day, a contact's visit count can also change without them attending another class.
For example:
A member has 6 total historical visits.
Over time, the oldest visits become more than two years old.
Only 3 visits remain within the rolling two-year window.
If your automation is configured with:
Number of Visits: Exactly 3
Time frame: All Time
The member will qualify for the automation when their visit count reaches 3 within the rolling window, even though they have not attended a recent class. This is expected behavior.
Best Practices
If your goal is to trigger an automation when a member reaches a visit milestone immediately after attending a class, avoid using All Time by itself.
Instead, combine the Number of Visits condition with a recent time frame, such as:
Within the Last 1 Day
Within the Last 7 Days
This helps ensure members enter the automation because they recently reached the milestone, rather than because older visits aged out of the rolling two-year window.
