How can I organize my automations into groups?

How to organize your Automations

Written by Seanalee Greenough

Automations can be organized and filtered using Automations Groups.

Creating Automation Groups

Click +Add Automation Group to create a new group.

Organizing Automations

Automations can be moved to a group by placing a check by the Automation > Move To > selecting the group.

After moving your Automations, you can see them in your group, along with a corresponding number to show how many campaigns there are within that group.

If the group was synced from an HQ account, the group will be labeled with HQ.

The original Automation will still be listed under All Automations for easy access.

Rename and Archive

Automation Groups can be renamed and archived by going to the group > Options > Rename/Archive.

Archiving a group will remove the group and all Automations will remain in the All Automations group.

Sorting and Filtering

Within an Automation Group, you can sort and filter your Automations. Sort options include:

  • Newest

  • Oldest

Filter options include:

  • HQ Campaigns

  • Non-HQ Campaigns

Syncing Automation Groups

HQ accounts can sync Automation Groups to their child accounts when creating a new group or from an existing group.

When an Automation Group is synced from HQ, any automations also synced to the child account will automatically maintain their group assignment. This allows you to organize your Automations into groups at HQ and maintain the same folder structure across your child accounts.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Syncing an Automation Group does not sync the Automations themselves. Automations must also be synced and available in the child account to appear within the synced group.

  • If both the Automation and its Automation Group exist in the child account, the Automation will automatically be assigned to the corresponding group.

  • Renaming or deleting a synced Automation Group at HQ will also update the synced group in child accounts.

New Group

When creating a new group, you will be given the option to Sync to all child accounts.

Existing Group

Within an existing group, click Options > Sync to all child accounts.
