Tags are used to identify and categorize contacts. They can be especially helpful when trying to group a specific segment of contacts based on data that isn't being captured in Xplor Growth and/or your booking software.

Creating & Managing Your Tags

If you'd like to create a new tag, click the Gear Icon in the top right corner > Assets > find the Tags tab. This section can also be accessed by clicking into any contact profile and navigating to the Tags section on the left-hand side > Manage tags.

Here, you can create a new tag, edit existing tags, or archive tags you no longer need.

This section can also be accessed by clicking into any contact profile and navigating to the Tags section on the left-hand side > Manage tags.

How to Tag a Single Contact

From the Contact Profile

To tag an individual contact, navigate to their contact profile (found under Contacts > search for their name or email address.) Once on their profile, navigate to the Tags section on the left-hand side.

To tag this contact with an existing tag, click the Search tags dropdown > select the tag.

To tag this contact with a new tag, click the Search tags dropdown > begin typing the name for your new tag > click where it says "Press enter to create this tag."

Once tagged, the contact will show as having the tag added to their profile. You can untag this client by clicking the small "x" to the right of the tag name.

From your All Contacts List

You can also tag an individual contact by navigating to your All Contacts list. Here simply, select the contact (or contacts) you'd like to tag > click Tag Management > Tag Selected. You can also untag by selecting Untag Selected.

How to Tag a Segment of Contacts

Tagging a segment of contacts is a great way to quickly categorize contacts in bulk. To begin, navigate to Contacts > Segments > click into your segment.

Locate the small checkbox to the left of the Email Address column header > click this to select all contacts on that page of the segment. Once you click this, you will see a blue bar across the top providing you the option to "Click here to select all contacts." This will select all contacts in the segment.

Once you've selected the relevant contacts, click Tag Management in the top-right > Tag Selected. You can also untag by selecting Untag Selected.

Using Tags in Auto-Campaigns & Segments

Now that you have your contact(s) tagged, you can use these tags to further segment or target your contacts.

Two conditions are based on tags:

  • Has a BrandBot Tag: Designed to target contacts who have a specific tag on their profile.

  • Assigned a BrandBot Tag: Designed to target contacts who were assigned a specific tag during a certain timeframe.

These conditions can be used for entry rules or goals in auto-campaigns, or to pull new segments of contacts.
