How to complete Twilio registration for SMS

How to register your business for SMS with Xplor Growth

Written by Chris Lyon

Twilio is the third-party service that powers SMS (texting) within Xplor Growth.

In order to be compliant with Phone Carrier anti-spam texting regulations, you must register your business with Twilio. Once registered, Twilio will assign a new phone number to each studio location in the studio's area code for texting within Xplor Growth.

SMS is currently available in the United States, Canada, France, Finland, Germany, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Xplor Growth SMS must come from the phone number assigned to your account by Twilio, not a personal number.

How do I register?

The registration process depends on the region and, in some cases, requires us to collect documentation for you to upload.

For multi-location, we'll do this at each child location, not on the HQ account.

What happens if my application is rejected?

Twilio submissions can sometimes be rejected due to the company name not matching exact records, a website that is behind a password, or missing language on the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy page.

If you receive an email that your Twilio application was rejected, contact support and our team will help you resubmit the application manually.
