Optionally, you may include marketing opt-in selections for email and or SMS. By default, the opt-in language is as listed below but can be customized by adding your text into the fields.

New Forms

Opt-In Selections

  • If the opt-in field is excluded from a form, the client will default auto-subscribed to email but unsubscribed to SMS in Xplor Growth after completing it.

  • Email is still auto opted-in without a check box needed.

  • If opt-in checkboxes are included on a form and left unchecked, the clients' opt-in status will update (or remain) opted out.

  • If opt-in checkboxes are included on a form and selected (one or both), the applicable selections will update to opted-in.

    • Exception: if a client opted-out from SMS by sending "STOP", they must sent a "START" message to opt back in to SMS messages.

Existing Forms

  • If you update the fields on an existing form to include one or both opt-in (email and/or SMS), you must republish the form.

  • If you're using the form embedded in a website, you must replace the embed code with the version that is generated after you republish. Likewise, if you're using an API tool (i.e. Zapier) you must update the webhooks post-republish.

  • Zapier documentation has been updated in the Knowledge Base: https://docs.brandbot.com/en/articles/3528412-adding-contacts-using-zapier
