The Xplor Growth brand settings do not update the Transactional Email templates. Instead, the logo image needs to be edited or changed in an Xplor Transactional Email template. There are three ways to achieve this:
Method 1: Edit the email directly
While in a Transactional Email template, click Edit Email, then click inside the email header.
In a separate window, open the logo you wish to use, and edit the file to the ideal size (approximately 200 pixels wide, although you can use a larger or smaller logo if you wish). Type Ctrl+C to copy the logo. Ensure that your logo is saved in a web-friendly format such as PNG or JPEG, and maintain a resolution of 72 DPI for optimal email display.
Select the current logo, delete using the Backspace or Delete button on your keyboard, then type Ctrl-V to paste the new logo.
Click Save Template, then Go Back to see your changes reflected in the email template.
Send yourself a test email.
Method 2: Edit the HTML
If you have a web developer or coding experience, you can edit the HTML of the email to apply additional styling and reference a logo hosted online.
Method 3: Bulk Update via Support
Updating the logo across all transactional email templates in Xplor Growth can be done efficiently using the bulk update feature. This method is particularly useful for maintaining consistent branding across communications. However, it is important to understand the implications of this action, as it resets all email content to the default version.
Step-by-Step Guide to Updating Logos
Prepare the New Logo: Ensure the new logo image is ready and meets the required specifications for your email templates.
Contact Support: Reach out to the Xplor Growth Support team and provide them with the new logo image. The support team will use the template uploader to apply the logo across all templates.
Backup Existing Content: Before proceeding, copy and save any existing email text or customizations you want to retain. This is crucial because the bulk update process will overwrite all current content in the templates.
Confirm the Update: Once the logo is uploaded, verify that it appears correctly across all templates.
Implications and Precautions
Content Reset: The bulk update process resets all transactional email templates to their default version. Any previously customized content will be lost. Ensure you are comfortable with this before proceeding.
Save Custom Content: To avoid losing important information, save any custom text or designs from your current templates before initiating the update.
Limitations and Alternative Solutions
Individual Customization: If you require different logos for individual email templates, this cannot be achieved through the bulk update feature. Such customizations must be handled by your internal team or design studio.
If you want to adjust your logo through an externally hosted file on your transactional emails, contact our support team, and we can assist you.
