Yes, due to marketing regulations, SMS via automation only sends texts between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the local time zone. Marketing SMS messages are promotional in nature, such as sale notifications or product updates, which is why they fall under these stricter timing regulations.

Transactional SMS serves a non-promotional, utilitarian purpose, such as notifying contacts of waitlist upgrades or account-related updates. These messages are designed to deliver critical real-time information to users.

Restrictions do not apply to transactional SMS messages (Waitlist notifications) or direct SMS messages sent manually from Xplor Growth. Non-automated messages can be sent at any time. Examples of transactional SMS include account alerts, booking confirmations, or payment reminders. Additionally, marketing and transactional SMS are sent using different origination numbers to ensure compliance.
