Automated SMS messages follow specific sending windows to comply with marketing communication regulations. These rules ensure that promotional messages are only delivered during appropriate hours in your customers’ local time zone.

Marketing SMS Messages

Automated Marketing SMS messages are sent only between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the recipient’s local time zone.

  • These messages are considered promotional, such as sale notifications or product updates.

  • Because they are classified as marketing content, they are subject to stricter timing regulations to protect consumers from receiving unsolicited texts late at night or early in the morning.

Transactional SMS Messages

Transactional SMS messages are non-promotional and serve an informational purpose.

Since these messages are designed to deliver time-sensitive or essential information, they are not restricted by the 9 a.m.–8 p.m. sending window.

Manual SMS Messages

Messages sent manually from Xplor Growth (for example, direct one-to-one messages) are also not subject to time restrictions and can be sent at any time.
