How do I configure employee payrates in Xplor Payroll?

Payrates can be added to an employee in Payrates > find the employee > Add Payrate > Class Instruction.

Complete the following fields and save:

  • Class Filters (required)

  • Type (required)

    • Flat Rate: A fixed amount per class (e.g., $30 per class)

    • Hourly by Class: Pays one full hour per class taught, regardless of duration (e.g., 45-minute class = 1 hour of pay)

    • Hourly by Duration: Pays based on actual class length (e.g., 45-minute class = 0.75 hours of pay)

  • Incentivies (optional)

    • Per Head: Adds a set amount per eligible reservation (e.g., $1 per reservation over 5, $4 per reservation over 10)

      Flat Rate: Adds a fixed bonus once a class meets a reservation threshold (e.g., $15 bonus for 15 or more eligible reservations)

  • Max Pay (optional)

    • If you are using flat rate pay, the maximum pay will apply to both the base rate + all incentives.

    • If you are using hourly by class or hourly by duration, the maximum pay will only apply to incentives.
