Referrals are one of the most effective ways to grow your studio by turning your existing members into advocates. Members can share a unique referral link with friends, and when those friends complete a goal you define, such as creating an account, attending a class, or making a purchase, rewards are automatically issued.
Referrals are currently in Early Access, with additional release details to be announced soon.
Configuration
To configure, go to Xplor Growth > Referrals > Program Details in the top header.
Set your Goal
Your goal is the action a friend must complete for the referral to count. When the goal is met, any rewards are released. Set What is the goal of the referral? to one of the following:
Create an account: Friend creates an account
Best for filling the top of your funnel and getting more people in the door
Take a class: Friend attends a class
best when attendance is what you care about most
Makes a purchase: Friend purchases a product
Configured for all or specific products
Best when you only want to reward referrals that turn into real revenue
Choose Your Rewards
Rewards are given when the goal is met. You decide who gets rewarded. Use the toggles to determine if both the referrer and the friend will receive the reward, only one, or neither.
Complete What type of reward for each referrer and the friend. Rewards include:
Account balance: Any dollar amount
Credits
Credit Type
Expires after: X number of days
Program Description
Configure the promotional message your customers will see in the referrals section
of their mobile app. The preview will display on the right-hand side.
Cover Image: Max 2400 x 1200px, 2MB
Header: Max 100 characters
Description: Max 1000 characters
Customize "How Referrals Work" Content: Max 100 characters
Override default referral goal content in the "How Referrals Work"
section of the consumer experience.
Add Language
Click to create another version of your copy. Customers whose device is set to that language will see that version automatically.
Friend Redirect & Referral Share Message
When a member shares their link, the friend lands on an Xplor Growth form to create an account. After the friend completes the form, select how you would like to redirect them:
No Redirection
Webpage URL
Use the redirect link to reduce friction. Point the friend toward the action that matches your goal.
Driving purchases: send them to a special offer page or your purchase page.
Driving class bookings: send them to your scheduling page.
Driving sign-ups: send them to your website or home page.
Select whether you want to customize the message shared with a friend when a referral link is sent, or use the default message. Multiple languages can be configured.
Aside from the redirect and share message, the form the friend submits cannot be customized.
Publish
When your setup is complete, click Publish. You will then see the Referral Program Details page, which provides a clear overview of everything you configured.
The program can be changed after publishing.
