What to expect in the switch from Mandrill to Xplor Transactional Email

The Transactional Email launch will be a two-phased approach in our new Xplor Growth platform, which will encompass Transactional Emails.

Phase One

You will find a new section on your navigation bar at the top of your screen which will open Xplor Growth in a new tab. Upon logging in, you will have the ability to view and edit your Transactional Emails. If you are a multi-location brand, you will also have access to the HQ dashboard where all templates will be locked by default.

Each template matches 1:1 with your existing Mandrill templates. While in this first phase, emails will not be sent at this time through the Xplor Transactional Email service, but still through Mandrill. This is the time to make any edits you see fit and prepare for launch!

Phase Two

After the view/edit period has ended, we will make the switch so that Mandrill is no longer servicing your Transactional Emails. Emails will now be sent through Xplor Growth and all of these emails will be "active" by default since they are currently active in Mandrill today.

At this time, multi-location brands may also sync changes to the location accounts.
