Do you need to update a contacts email or did does the email address have typos?

The Xplor Growth system identifies a contact solely by their email address, which serves as their unique identifier.

If a contact's email address is incorrect in Xplor Growth, it must be edited or updated in the booking platform or CRM system, such as Mariana Tek, MindBody, or FieldEdge. Once the email address is updated in the booking platform/CRM system, it will sync and create a new contact profile in Xplor Growth. Please note that Xplor Growth profiles cannot be merged.

For example, if "[email protected]" needs to be updated or corrected, this must be done in the booking platform. Once it is updated to "[email protected]" in the booking platform, it will sync to Xplor Growth as a new profile linked to the updated email address. The secondary profile with the incorrect email address can be manually unsubscribed to preserve data and prevent further communication, rather than deleting it.

We recommend manually unsubscribing the secondary profile with the outdated email address rather than deleting it. Once a contact is deleted, they will not sync again. If you want to clean up your contact lists, it is strongly recommended to unsubscribe these contacts instead of deleting them.
