Loyalty points can be manually added to or removed from a customer's account.
When points are added, and the customer reaches a new tier, their loyalty tier, rewards, and associated tags will automatically update.
When points are removed, any rewards already issued, including account balances or credits, will remain on the customer's account.
If point removal causes the customer to fall below a tier threshold, their loyalty tier and associated tags will update accordingly.
When updating points, giving rewards can't be undone. Review that you are working with the correct accounts and check the points required for each tier.
Single Account
In Loyalty Insights, click the three-dot icon next to the customer's name > Add Points. Points can only be added when working with one account at a time.
Enter the number of points to add to the account > Confirm.
At this time, the tiers and rewards have been updated.
Bulk
When updating points in bulk, you can add or subtract points. First, create a CSV file and include the following columns:
email_address: Customer's email
Double-check the email on their Mariana Tek account
points_adjustment: Number of points you want to add or subtract
Use a minus sign "-" to subtract points
In Loyalty Insights > Upload points adjustment CSV, upload the CSV file.
