A shared footer is the standard footer automatically added to marketing emails sent from an account. It can include:
Company logos
Image sections
Social media icons
Text blocks
Contact information
Because it is shared, changes to the footer apply to future emails sent from that account

Syncing from HQ to Child Account
If you sync an email template from your HQ account to a child location, the email body is copied to the child location, but the footer may look different. This is expected behavior because each child location maintains its own shared footer.
When an email template is synced from HQ:
The email body is copied to the child location.
The footer is not copied if the child location already has its own shared footer.
The child location automatically applies its own saved footer when the email is sent.
This allows each location to maintain its own branding and contact information independently of HQ.
Once a footer is saved for that location, it becomes the default footer for all emails sent from that account. Syncing an HQ template updates the email body but does not replace an existing footer at the child location.
To make the child location's footer match the HQ design, login to the child location and edit the share footer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see when the child footer was created or changed?
Not at this time. There are currently no audit logs showing when a shared footer was created or last modified.
Can I reset a child location to automatically use the HQ footer?
No. There isn't currently a setting that automatically replaces an existing child footer with the HQ footer.
If you want the child footer to match HQ, edit and save the footer from within the child location.
Will updating the footer affect other emails?
Yes. The footer is shared across the entire child account. When you save changes, the updated footer will be applied to future emails sent from that location.
