There are a few different occasions when you could find yourself uploading a CSV file:
Adding a list of contacts to a specific segment
Adding a list of contacts to an auto-campaign
Your CSV needs to be formatted correctly to accomplish a successful upload. The headers need to be typed in the exact order, spelling, and spacing:
Column A (Required and must be the first column)= Email
Column B (Required) = First Name
Column C (Required) = Last Name
Column D (Optional) = Phone
Delete this column if blank
Click the link to download the file in the correct format.
If you receive an error message when attempting an upload, it is most likely due to a formatting issue such as:
Columns not labeled correctly and headers are not on the first row
Extra columns included
The file is not a CSV
Email is not the first column
