Transactional emails are designed to provide essential information based on specific user actions such as booking a class, cancelling a class, creating a Mariana Tek account, or making a purchase. These emails are automatically triggered by individual transactions in the Business Management System (BMS) of Xplor Growth. You can view the full list of triggers and templates here.

Transactional Emails vs Marketing Automations

Transactional emails are different from Marketing Automations in the following ways:

Transactional Emails:

  • Purpose: Provide operational or transaction-specific updates.

  • Triggers: Sent automatically based on user actions.

  • Email Preference Compliance: Ignored; sent regardless of opt-in/opt-out status.

Marketing Emails:

  • Purpose: Share promotional content and updates with users.

  • Triggers: Manually configured campaigns targeting selected user groups.

  • Email Preference Compliance: Only sent to users who have opted in.

Viewing Transactional Emails

To view your available transactional emails, log into Xplor Growth and Select Automation > Transactional Messaging. From here you can view, edit, and activate / deactivate transactional emails. Click here to view a list of all available transactional emails and their triggers.

Editing Transactional Email Templates

You can edit a Transactional Email to add hyperlinks, emojis, custom subject lines, brand messaging, and edit the studio logo. You cannot add images to a transactional email, unless you use the custom HTML editor.

To edit a Transactional Email template, open the template and click Edit Email.

There are two ways to edit the template:

  1. Using the HTML editor (advanced).

  2. By editing the text directly in the editor. A list of the available dynamic variables can be found here.

In this view, you can also edit the subject line of the email.

Highlight any text to expose text formatting tools:

Click on 'Save Template' when you have finished making changes. Once you have saved that template, all changes will begin sending on any new transactions.

Activating / Deactivating Transactional Emails

By default, all Transactional Email templates are set to "Live". Click here to view a list of all available transactional emails and their triggers. You can deactivate any email by clicking on it and selecting Set to Inactive.

The "Client Communication" Transactional email is used for the Message Class feature in Mariana Tek. Please ensure you do not deactivate it.

Editing the "From" email address

Transactional email settings are separate from marketing email settings. To edit the Sender details, while in the Transactional Email tab, click the gear icon in the top right corner and click Account Settings. Here you can edit:

  • "From" Email

  • "From" Name

  • "Reply-to" Email

Your sending email address cannot be a yahoo.com or gmail.com email address as these email domains cannot be verified. Instead, you will need to set up a custom professional email address with your own personal domain.
