Transactional emails are notifications triggered by actions a client takes in your Business Management Software. Some examples of transactional emails are purchase receipts, reservation confirmations, password resets, cancellation confirmations, waitlist confirmations, and gift card notifications.

Transactional emails are separate from marketing opt-in status—clients who opt out of marketing emails will still receive transactional emails.
