In addition to Transactional Emails, there is currently one Transactional SMS that is sent when a customer is moved from a waitlist to a class roster.

Transactional SMS is currently available in North American studio locations using Mariana Tek, and can be enabled by completing your Twilio compliance, and then reaching out to [email protected].

When a customer is upgraded from the waitlist to the class roster, they will receive the below message via SMS so long as they are SMS opted in:

You’ve been added to {self.class_name} @ {self.class_time} on {self.class_date_long} @ {self.site_name} {self.location_name}! Please contact the studio if you are unable to attend.

A few things to note about Transactional SMS:

  • The Waitlist Upgrade SMS message will be sent from a different number than your marketing SMS messages, and will not appear in your SMS inbox as a "sent" message.

  • At this time, Transactional SMS numbers are a no-reply line. If a customer replies, the message is not delivered to the studio nor is there a reply to the customer.

  • At this time, the Waitlist Upgrade SMS message can not be edited or customized.

  • The Waitlist Upgrade SMS message can be toggled on or off by navigating to Automation > Transactional Messaging > SMS.
