Gamification is a powerful suite of tools designed to increase customer engagement and motivate desired behaviors, such as increased bookings, social sharing, and spending. Using Gamification, your studio can create fun, rewarding experiences that drive customer loyalty and foster a sense of accomplishment.

Key Features of Gamification

These features help customers build a strong sense of community with your studio create moments of recognition, and drive a desire for completion.

  • Goals: Encourage customers to reach specific objectives at your studio.

  • Challenges: Motivate customers to participate in studio-wide activities.

  • Milestones: Reward customers for reaching significant achievements and promote consistency.

Accessing Gamification

If your account does not have Gamification activated and you would like to request access, click on Gamification in the main navigation of Xplor Growth > Request Activation.

We will reach out to discuss the product and associated costs.

Getting Started

Once Gamification is activated, click on Gamification in the main navigation. You will be redirected to the login screen. An admin user with full brand access will need to log in.

After logging in, all users with access to an account with Gamification enabled will be able to access Gamification tools.

Multi-Location Access

Gamification, unlike other Xplor Growth features, is designed to operate across your entire studio. When using Gamification, any changes will affect all locations associated with your studio, not just a single location.

  • Challenges can be created for all locations.

  • Milestones will be shared across all studios.

  • Reporting will provide studio-wide insights, showing performance data for all locations.

HQ vs. Child Account-Level Management

Gamification is typically managed at the HQ (tenant-wide) level. This means it is accessible through the main account and not independently manageable by child or location-specific accounts. The reasoning behind this approach is to ensure consistency across all locations and to prevent alterations at the child account level that might inadvertently impact multiple locations.

  1. HQ-Level Management:

    • When enabled at the HQ level, creation and editing of challenges are centralized.

    • Child or location accounts cannot independently manage the Gamification feature.

  2. Child Account Activation:

    • In some cases, Gamification can be enabled for a specific child account. If activated, team members of the child account can create and edit challenges. Bear in mind, these changes could affect more than one location, so caution is advised for cross-location impacts.

Organizations usually prefer keeping the management centralized at the HQ level to avoid these challenges.
