How do I manage contacts in a segment?

Managing contacts in a segment

Within a segment, the following bulk options are available to manage your contacts:

  • Add to Campaign

  • Manage Tags

  • Email Opt-In

  • Remove Selected

Check the needed contacts to access the bulk options.


Add to Campaign

Selecting Add to Campaign allows you to add contacts to an automation campaign. Search for the automation or select multiple ones to add the contact.


Manage Tags

Manage tags opens the tag management window, allowing you to add tags to the selected contacts. Multiple tags can be added.


Email Opt-In

Email opt-in lets you subscribe or unsubscribe a contact from email marketing.


Remove Selected

Remove selected will remove the contact from this particular segment. This will not remove the contact from your account as a whole.


Column Visibility

Use the Column Visibility button to select what is visible in the grid:

  • Default Columns:

    • Email Address

    • Name

    • Date: When the contact was added to the segment

  • Optional Columns:

    • Source: How the contact was added to the segment

    • Email Subscribed

    • SMS Subscribed

    • Added By
