How to have a client set or reset their Mariana Tek login password

If a client creates a Mariana Tek account via the Instant Book Form feature, they have a password assigned. There are two ways for a client to set or reset their password.

Clicking "Forgot Password" upon login

When they log into the app or website at a future date, they can simply click "Forgot Password" to set their password, as long as they use the same email they submitted the form with.

Customizing the New Registration Auto-email

Additionally, you can customize the New Registration transactional email that is sent to anyone when they create a new profile in Mariana Tek, to add the link to set/reset their password.

To customize this email, while logged into Xplor Growth, navigate to Automation > Transactional Messaging > New Registration > View Email

Click Edit Email.

Enter the text "To set or reset your password, click here."

Highlight the text "click here" to add a hyperlink.

  • URL: Copy and paste the variable: {{ password_reset_link }}

  • Text to display: Click here

  • Title: Reset Password

  • Open Link in: New Window

Click Save Template.

In the top left corner, click Go Back.

Verify that your email looks the way you want, double-check the link by clicking on it, and send yourself a test if you wish.
