In addition to transactional emails, transactional SMS can be sent to customers. Enabling transactional SMS can be done by:

Transactional SMS Details

Here are a few things to consider when using transactional SMS:

  • Transactional SMS is currently available in North American studio locations using Mariana Tek.

  • Transactional SMS will be sent from a different number than your marketing SMS messages, and will not appear in your SMS inbox as a sent message.

  • Transactional SMS numbers are a no-reply line. If a customer replies, the message is not delivered to the studio, nor is there a reply to the customer.

  • Transactional SMS can not be edited or customized.

Templates

Each template can be toggled on or off by navigating to Automation > Transactional Messaging > SMS.

Here are the current SMS templates:

Waitlist Upgrade Text

When a customer is upgraded from the waitlist to the class roster, they will receive the following message via SMS:

You’ve been added to {self.class_name} @ {self.class_time} on {self.class_date} @ {self.site_name} {self.location_name}! Please cancel your reservation if you are unable to attend.

The following SMS is sent to all waitlisted customers simultaneously, and the spot is claimed on a first-come, first-served basis. As long as the waitlist remains active, a new SMS will be sent each time a spot opens.

Hi <first name>, a spot just opened in <class name> at <studio> on <class date> at <class time>. Secure your spot {{link}}
